Strategy and Social Media Content
For this project, we created and promoted a brand called Patchwork, focusing on raising awareness about the harmful effects of fast fashion on the environment through social media campaigns on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and our own personal blog. Our goal was to inspire thoughtful shopping for a less wasteful fashion industry. I managed the Instagram account, @thepatchworkcompany, creating content and ensured a consistent posting cycle. I creating visual posts, infographics, and educational content to highlight the issues of fast fashion. I worked with my team multiple times a week to emphasize sustainability and ethical fashion. Using insights from social media listening, different readings, I strategically included different content types and hashtags like #Sustainability and #ReapWhatYouSew to have a personal hashtag and raise awareness.
